Asparagus
racemosus (root)….
It soothes and calms Vata….an effective demulcent for
dry and inflamed membranes of the lungs, stomach, kidneys
and sexual organs. It is good for chronic diarrhea and
dysentery.
Cinnamomum
zeylanicum (bark)…an effective herb for
strengthening and harmonizing the flow of circulation. It
helps in absorption, strengthens the heart , warms the
kidneys and promotes agni…….it is a good general beverage
for Vata constitutiona.
Punica grantum (seed)….It has
stomachic properties & is used for promoting digestion
….alleviates all three doshas.
Sida cordifolia (whole plant)…. It is a well known

Cyperus rotundus (tuber).........

emotional problems of PMS, i.e., depression and
irritability.
Glycyrrhiza glabra (root)....... great
toxifier .. aids the liver in discharging the poisons it

Rubia cordifolia (stem)… It is the best blood

Piper longum (fruit)…A powerful stimulant for both
the digestive and respiratory systems…burns away Ama and

Aegle marmelos (bark)… acts as laxative, diuretic &

Dip one
pouch of Vata
Tea into a cup of boiling
water. Cover with a lid for two minutes and stir. The drink
is ready. You may add milk to taste. For maximum
