Banyan tree also has therapeutic benefits and is one of the important herbs in Ayurveda. The fruit of this tree acts as a mild purgative and is used in gastrointestinal imbalances. It is also beneficial in skin ailments. The banyan tree extract is used in treating teeth amd mouth ailments. It may help in regulating blood sugar level. It pacifies Pitta with its cooling effect and help with pitta related diseases.
