• Rasa (Taste): Tikta (bitter), Kashaya (astringent), Madhura (sweet)
• Virya (Potency): Sheeta (cooling)
• Vipaka (Post-digestive effect): Madhura (sweet)
• Effect on Doshas: Pacifies Pitta and Vata; may increase Kapha if overused
